Other factors that may prompt earlier evaluation include known fertility issues, irregular menstrual cycles, a history of pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or previous reproductive surgeries. It is important to note that infertility can be caused by a variety of factors, and seeking an evaluation does not necessarily mean that there is a problem with either partner.
