There are so many around you that you need to take care of every single day. Do you know who else you need to remember to care for? Yourself! Self-care means taking care of yourself so that you can be healthy as a person. You can be healthy, happy, productive, and kind by focusing on self-care just as much as your focus on caring for others in your life. This isn't selfish or being self-indulgent. Just like you need to eat your veggies, you also need to do things like this:

If you're not getting at least seven hours of sleep a night, you're not taking care of yourself the way you need to be. Take a nap while the kids are at school. Arrange a sleepover so you can sleep in on a Saturday morning. Making sleep a priority is essential to make yourself a priority!
