Les OEUFS DE FABERGE ont fait connaître dans le monde entier le nom de leur créateur, PETER-KARL FABERGE. PETER-KARL FABERGE est né en 1846 à SAINT PETERSBOURG (RUSSIE) dans une famille de bijoutiers protestants. Après avoir fait son apprentissage auprès des plus grands joailliers d’Europe, PETER-KARL FABERGE reçoit en 1882 la médaille d’or de l’exposition Pan-Russe. Il se fait ainsi remarquer par la Cour et obtient le "Privilège de Fournisseur de la Cour" en 1884. En 1885, le TSAR Alexandre III commande un œuf en joaillerie à la Maison FABERGE. Il s’agissait d’un présent destiné à son épouse l’impératrice Maria Feodorovna pour les fêtes de PAQUES. 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
