Bookmaker 1xBet was nominated for recognition through the SiGMA Awards Asia, which covers the online gaming category, and the winners for the category will be announced at an awards ceremony in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, on June 3.
SiGMA Asia 2024, a trade event and conference in online gaming, will be held from June 3 to June 5 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasai, Manila.
1xBet is considering "the best affiliate program" and "the best sportsbook operator 2024" at SiGMA Awards Asia, it said in a press release provided on Monday.
The bookmaker said: "We're very excited to be one of the contenders to win such an important award."
"Having been awarded confirms that our team has chosen the right development strategy and is creating top-notch products that are exciting for our customers and help our partners make money.
"With increasing interest in sports betting and gaming in Asia, it's very important that we lead the market."
In February, 1xBet said it appointed Asian brand ambassador Kai Soto, a young and emerging Filipino basketball player.
1xBet described itself as the official betting partner of French elite football club Paris Saint-Germain in its April campaign. The other partners are French elite team LOSC Leal and Italian Serie A football leagues, as well as Spanish Catalan Super Club FC Barcelona.
1xBet says it has 17 years of experience in the betting and gambling industry and offers bets on "thousands" of sporting events as well as "popular games from top online casino providers."
