Zack, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today? I fell in love with photography in South Africa, during a safari in the Kruger Park. Back in L.A, II started doing headshots and fashion and quickly realized that the artistic part of a fashion shoot, sometimes close to fine arts, what was I was attracted to. Since I have no option but to be passionate about what I do, I committed to fine arts photography, knowing how risky it could be on a financial standpoint. I had a gold wall built in my home studio, out of extra thin gold leaves, and started body painting my models in gold. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy.
