Lighting, Shadows and Projectors, Oh My! So, now that my preferences are set and I have fine-tuned my windlight settings, I can finally take a picture!

Whew! But wait, my necklace is missing pieces and my feet show through my shoes. I even have some bald patches! And after all that work! Never fear! Open Debug Settings from the Advanced Menu and type in rendervolumeLODFactor. So I have decided to turn on shadows. Most of the time, I shoot in-world. As you can see, with Full Bright turned on all the Shadows disappear. Glow is fun to use without shadows.

The adjustment for glow is on the Texture tab of the Edit interface. You can enhance your photos with lighting. You can use a transparent texture or increase the level of Transparency on the Texture tab. When you have Lights and Shadows enabled, you get a new column in the lower right of your light’s edit window Features tab. The projector color can be played with as well for all sorts of fun and games. Now is a good time to turn off those Foot Shadows. Second Life Camera Position Tips. There are a number of ways to go about this. I recently had to deal with this very issue when I was making the vendor ads with a partially transparent skirt, and I found one way (limited to SL) that works very well, very quickly! There are a few steps to this tutorial, and I went into extreme detail so that any skill level of Photoshopper can use this trick, but overall it’s very simple and basic. This should also work for gimp but I’m not sure of the exact commands on gimp. Any gimp users that can provide gimp translations, give a holler in the comments and I will add them to the post.
