Get flash to fully experience Pearltrees
By default, playback always starts from the beginning of a track. This can be difficult if you want to focus your attention on a piece in the middle, or near the end. You can change where playback begins by setting the playback start marker. You can do this by clicking white area just above the grid. A blue arrow icon will be placed where you click.
Each alive cell has 4 states: Up, right, down, left. at each cycle, the cells move themselves in the direction of their internal states. If any cell encounters a wall, it triggers a pitched sound whose frequency is determined by the xy position of collision, and the cell reverses its direction. If a cell encounters another cell on its way, it turns itself clockwise. This set of rules produces chaotic results in some settings, therefore you can end up with never repeating, gradually evolving sequences. Go add some cells, change their orientation by clicking on them, and press play, experiment, have fun.
Simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer. Each triggered step causes a force on the underlaying wave-map , which makes it more cute. it could be a very popular and really addictive thing if you keep working on it! - add more sounds showed by different colors - add vertical line which helps identify speed and current position of toggled cells - ability to change speed of line - octave up, down buttons - ability to add new matrix lower or upper than main one, similar to layers. Each layer could be used as separate line for bass, lead, and so on.
