Crochet Baby Summer Sandals - I'm Topsy Turvy.
Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef. Spinning Basics. HOW TO USE THE DROP SPINDLE. Bead embroidery! I made a few more hand beaded Blythe dresses. I'm really enjoying playing around with bead embroidery so I thought I'd make a little tutorial for you! It is a bit time consuming, but easy to learn and a great way to sparkle up your embroidery projects! You'll first need a pattern of some sort, lines to follow. You can draw some simple swirls or shapes on your fabric with a pencil, or find some interesting patterned fabric and embellish the shapes with beads like I did with the pink and green dresses here. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can just make up designs as you go. Next, get some beads. You can stitch on some larger beads individually with any sewing or embroidery needle, but for tiny seed beads like I used for these lines, you'll want to pick up a few beading needles. Here's how to stitch on rows of beads: Tie a knot in some strong thread and thread a needle.
Next, make a back stitch up through the last two beads in your row. 1. . :) aimee. Some of you may recall how I've been crazy about knit and crochet items for the home, especially things that are big and chunky..... well, I finally have a pattern to contribute to your home!
I finished my Chunky Seed Stitch Knit Rug that is so very cozy on the toes. If you can get over knitting with big needles and doubling super chunky yarn, this will be a breeze. Some of you may be annoyed with the seed stitch, but it is worth it. The stitch makes the rug so cozy and gives it a fun, textured look. Size: The size I knitted is about 2 feet by 3 feet, but it can be easily adjusted to make it the size you want Gauge: Note that the gauge isn't too important -- in other words, don't spend a lot of time trying to match my gauge.
Materials: Instructions: Holding two strands together, cast on 50 stitches.
