Oh man lots of claims and blames there.i actually wanted to help everybody out there wanting to learn the FBUS.I want to clear some things here.1)As shyam said there is lots of support on FBUS and a li'll googling will help u on this, but he has failed to understand that he wont find stuff for 8052.Nobody(not even embedtronics.com,which I mentioned) has direct info or the codes for FBUS,which I think I have uploaded in my earlier posts. If I was the stingy "Indian" as Ajay has notoriously christened me,I would have hesitated to even put that up2)If somebody is there to help u out and he says he will be with u during the hardship,u shud be happy and proud of his company. If I were to give away the code, wheres the learning process?..

Make: Community. Milk builds strong bones. Community builds strong makerspaces. People geeking out enmass is good evidence of community. Here dozens of people flock to 3D printers at the local Reston library. Occasionally, I’ll visit a frustrated makerspace. “We have a space. We have tools. Most cities have interest groups of many types. Our makerspace was actually founded with one such group at its core: Northern Virginia RepRap Group. Another form of community building is based on cross promotion with other makerspaces. This collaboration among makerspaces has been healthy for all concerned. The last example I’ll give is of existing institutions in your town. The more you cooperate with other passion communities, the more people become aware of your space, join you, and feed your community. Had success growing community in your makerspace?

The latest additions to the control panel market. Keypad addition Scantronic’s 65EN alarm panel, available through Norbain, now comes with a 9953EN prox keypad which can be connected to the AX10, a remote setting prox unit that can be used on the exterior of a building (up to 5m away from the 9953EN keypad). This gives the user a number of advantages, the company claims.

It means that the system can be set from outside the building, removing any worries about getting out of the building before the alarm is activated. Because the AX10 has an LED, the user will have visual confirmation of the status of the alarm system for 10 seconds after it has been set or unset. The 65EN alarm panel has eight zones on board, which can be expanded to 40, using keypads, MSNODEs (wired expanders), MRNODEs (868MHz narrowband radio expanders) or MSPSU (smart power supply). Tsvetan Usunov <usunov@olimex.com> of has offered to make a PCB free and ship it to the designer free every month for the PICList as a prize for a design contest.

Contest entrys must be posted to the list and PICList.com web site and will then always be available for all the members as reference designs. Tsvetan's idea is that this will encourage people to publish designs and get more good ideas out into the real world for everyone to see. Rules: Board layout must not exceed: double side, 160x100 mm, soldermask, component print, and must be possible for Olimex to produce, see: for details. The designs to be made with PIC microcontrollers (or code compatible).

No one will be angry if dozens of CMOS or TTL IC will be used to help the poor PIC to solve the problem, but the design must use a PIC or code compatible processor. To be non-commercial projects. Fine print: Questions: Winner! See.
