The reason we’re supposed to be trimming down our work weeks to begin with is to make more time for our larger goals. The Dreamlining activity set aside in the book asks readers to identify what they want to BE, DO, and HAVE in the forward-looking six and twelve months.

Now, with my mind wrapped around “Think Big, not Realistic” mantra, I realized that I had some goals that I wanted to achieve in the next six and twelve months, but others that I saw as being farther out goals. This might not be the idea that Tim had in mind. One of the great tools to assist in Dreamlining is the Excel Spreadsheet version that was developed by the folks at the Technotheory blog. I’m a big believer in modeling successful people and reproducing their strategies. If they can do it, I can do it, too. It looks like I’ve found just the guy to model and he’s willing to share his secrets. I recently sent out a Tweet asking “if anyone has a muse that truly requires less than four hours a week and makes six figures a year”. Muses are such a pressing topic with our Jet Set Life audience that I decided to create a series on Muse Creation and Development.

Before we jump into the questions, tell us a little about yourself, including what you were doing before you created your muse. I have always been a serial entrepreneur. I left because my wife and I were getting ready to have our first daughter, she was only a few months away. From Denmark to India, from college students to retirees, from yoga instructors to engineers, the stories poured in. Narrowing them down to finalists, even with several people, was excruciating, but below you will find 15 of our favorites.
