Top 10 Creative Ways to Store Your Stuff. I live in a smallish condo, so I love these kinds of creative hacks.
Two of my favorite and easy hacks: 1. Hung my Guitar Hero controllers off the side of a movie rack with some thin steel wire. Just make a loop big enough to slide the headstock through, and then fasten the loop to the side of the rack. When you're done with the guitar, slide the headstock UP through the loop and then let it back down so the wire grabs onto the tuner-nubs on the face of the headstock. 2. Here are some simple tips on how to store apples for a long, long time by Don Fallick. Almost any kind of apple will keep for three or four months, or even longer, if stored properly.
It's cheap and easy to do. All you need is newspaper, a box or basket, and apples. A root cellar is optional, but not necessary. The main causes of apple spoilage are time, bruises, and contact with a rotten spot on another apple. Time Time can be stretched by selecting long-keeping varieties of apples for storage. They are yellow and tart at harvest, but get redder and sweeter, and actually taste better after a couple of months in storage.
Contact Prevent contact between apples stored for the winter by wrapping them individually in sheets of newspaper. Place an apple on top of the stack and fold the top sheet of paper up around the apple, wrapping it in paper. Sorting Always handle apples carefully, to avoid bruising them. My family owns two Victorio strainers. Canned pie filling, applesauce, and cider will keep for a year or more. Storage I keep wrapped apples in a cardboard box. Sittbänk i lecablock.
Bok-bokhylla. Gräsvägg. Designers at Nendo sure know how to play with ideas and create wild things-literally.
The pictures below are taken in an actual house in Tokyo. The fact that the property is located on a riverbank and it had some vegetation growing on the external facades of the building, inspired the designers to come up with green separating walls for the interior also. “Moss House” is the name of the project and this is a creation that deserves its name. Separating green walls with interesting patterns – things can not get more “lively” than this. Even though this is a fantastic idea- not to mention original- taking care of this walls may not be the easiest thing to do.
Top 10 Creative Ways to Store Your Stuff. Summer House in Sweden. This small vacation house in Sweden (75 square meters) started with the chair.
The owners, Marie Wåhlin and Kenth Kembe, derived the aesthetic of the place from an old Eames moulded chair, bought during couple’s trip to Gothenburg. Another source of inspiration came from the traditional architecture of Gotland – the homeland of the house. Architect Torbjörn Hoeg managed to create a tailored modern solution, based on these classic ideas. The center of a house is a living room, which, thanks to the shape of the roof, has a cathedral feel. Three small bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom enframe the central area (see the floorplan below).
