This year Freekuency welcomes a new venue, The Freek Boutique – a cabaret and live stage area which will be hosting primarily live performance, but also producer/DJs, visual projections and a late night cinema, all set in a beautifully twisted arena. A collaborative project, The Freek Boutique will create a friendly, visually striking area to meet, eat and chill during the day at our cafe/bar whilst providing a platform for live musical talent. However, as the sun goes down, the freaks come out… Jumping Gypsy, punk rock and ska bands will be tearing up the stage as circus performers and fire dancers set the night alight!! Then after the live acts, twisted visuals and banging beats assault the senses, leaving no option but to dance the night away!! Fusion Festival (Berlin) 27-30th june: Bassline Circus went back for the second year running to the ground breaking Fusion festival in Germany. Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Hip Hop served, mashed up with lashings of High flying Circus acts, and the legendary Bassline Circus Cabarave. Boomtown Fair (Southampton) 8-11th August: Residing in the heart of El Barrio Loco is Circo Baile who brings an explosive and energetic circus into the district!
