Pinpockit. Outlawed by Amazon DRM « Martin Bekkelund - Nightly. A couple of days a go, my friend Linn sent me an e-mail, being very frustrated: Amazon just closed her account and wiped her Kindle. Without notice. Without explanation. This is DRM at it’s worst. Linn travels a lot and therefore has, or should I say had, a lot of books on her Kindle, purchased from Amazon. Suddenly, her Kindle was wiped and her account was closed. Being convinced that something wrong had happened, she sent an e-mail to Amazon, asking for help. This was the answer: Dear Linn [last name],My name is Michael Murphy and I represent Executive Customer Relations within Amazon.co.uk.

This answer was very confusing. So, she replied to Murphy’s e-mail: Dear Michael Murphy,I am very surprised to read your email. The answer provided no progress: Dear Linn [last name],As previously advised, your Amazon.co.uk account has been closed, as it has come to our attention that this account is related to a previously blocked account. Unfortunately, the answer was the same: The worst of DRM.

Everything Shii Knows. It was a lot more annoying to maintain this website after it closed than I expected. Even after I put up a big banner it turned out that I was hosting stuff here without copyrights and moral permissions. I need to focus on other things in my ife these days. A lot of 4chan stuff, including things taken from this wiki, can be found on GitHub (why GitHub? IDK) If you're interested in the history of 4chan, another guy named Cole Stryker documented it much better than I did.

The funny guys behind the Zybourne Clock now have their own website. As for the rest... um... I invite you to check out the rest of my website if you like translations of manga and stuff. DANIEL.AU. Innovation Does NOT Lead to Piracy. The Joint Creators and Copyright Owners (JCCO) is a group of organizations including the MPAA, RIAA, and other entities that are continuously in the news these days. These groups are formed by incredibly powerful people attempting to protect their interests, investments, and everything they have worked hard for (or so they claim).

These coalitions and private interest groups will normally stop at nothing to do what they believe is right for them, which is to try and protect their intellectual property (IP) from the dangers of piracy (read: loss of revenue). Lets take a look, a closer look at my last statement… “they will stop at nothing to do what they believe is right for them.” This is more true than not and because of their immense sphere of influence, governments worldwide have granted these groups extraordinary rights when it comes to protecting their stuff, all under the veil of piracy.

So, what exactly is happening? Now, XDA-Developers has always had a stance against piracy. Coding Experiments:LainOS. Zombie Simpsons: How the Best Show Ever Became the Broadcasting Undead. Zom·bie adj. remaining animate despite lack of thought or consciousnessSimp·sons n. an American television programBy almost any measurement, The Simpsons is the most influential television comedy ever created. It has been translated into every major language on Earth and dozens of minor ones; it has spawned entire genres of animation, and had more books written about it than all but a handful of American Presidents. Even its minor characters have become iconic, and the titular family is recognizable in almost every corner of the planet. It is a definitive and truly global cultural phenomenon, perhaps the biggest of the television age.As of this writing, if you flip on FOX at 8pm on Sundays, you will see a program that bills itself as The Simpsons. It is not The Simpsons.

That show, the landmark piece of American culture that debuted on 17 December 1989, went off the air more than a decade ago. Part I – Putting the Spring in Springfield 1 – What Is Zombie Simpsons? There are a number of words and phrases that we recommend avoiding, or avoiding in certain contexts and usages. Some are ambiguous or misleading; others presuppose a viewpoint that we disagree with, and we hope you disagree with it too.
