And there’s more! Ghost treat boxes. By Kate on September 28, 2012 Just a bit of housekeeping before I begin. I have been making a few changes to the layout of the site so, if this page looks odd, right-click and select reload. (If you are still having problems please email me, or leave a comment, and I will get back to you). I saw these ghost milk bottles and thought they were very cute and easy…however I couldn’t get hold of little milk bottles so made some milk cartons instead which I’m going to stuff with Halloween goodies for the kids (& my hubby!).

DIY Pop Up Cards. Today’s column is by Oh Happy Day contributor Michaela of Bliss! I’ve been seeing a lot of pop-up cards around the web lately, all using very intricate, sometimes complicated folding and glueing techniques. Since I’m really more of the simple-diy-lover, I’ve put together a quick and versatile pop-up card tutorial. The idea is that you can use one basic technique for an endless amount of different pop-up cards. Start with a simple card and fold it in half. Then cut parallel lines (in pairs of the same length) into the middle fold as shown in the picture. Now start crafting the bits and pieces to display in your card. Stick some more balloons, or whatever it is you’re crafting, onto the flaps and voilà – you’re done. In the same way you can also create text cards (Happy Birthday), fields of flowers or rows of trees. If you're like me, there's a mountain of cotton fabric scraps littering the spare bedroom that are a bit too small to sew anything significant. Here's a solution...new underwear! If you put your mind to it, you'll have a drawer full by the end of the day. (Good thought for Valentine's Day coming up soon) I've drafted a pattern for you to use (please, for personal use only!) In a Medium. No excuses. Download Front.pdfDownload Back.pdf Here's how You will need approximately 40cm (16") fabric, soft underwear elastic, pins, scissors, sewing machine, lace and ribbon 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. . * 10mm (1/2") seams have been allowed.

Don't miss any Go Make Me projects, follow on Bloglovin' DIY Dinosaur Tutorial. Meet Julie the Dinosaur. I asked my husband what we should name her, and he said Julie... so Julie she is! Julie Measures 18" long from nose to tail & 10" from toes to spikes. After printing & cutting out your pattern pieces, you need to assemble them as illustrated above. Tape the pieces connected by the light grey strips. Cut out fabric with a 1" hem allowance. I didn't add all the spike rings or the patch heart to the pattern because I didn't follow a pattern for them (I just cut the tie part of a fluffy robe & sewed them into 16 rings.)

For the "Body" 1. You do this by placing your body piece with the front facing you, and then put your "underneath body piece" on top so that it's front is facing the front of the body piece. 2. 3. 4. For the "spikes, heart & eyes" 1. 2. Who's cuter? "Mommy, stop taking pictures of the dinosaur and pay attention to the real cutie here! " " She said what?! " A little tired of all these pictures.....

Thanks for stopping by! The End. :)
