I agree that the first habits might take at least...20min (wow) to come, but then it's straightforward, that's why I rated a 8. Plus, as mentionned below, it kept its interface for years now, so once you get it, where is the issue ? Regarding functionality, well it works ! When I get the error messages, it's simply because I've messed up containers or rates or that I tried to encode something that is not right ! That might be the improvement to make, maybe a guide to show what are the wrong configurations for encoding. But again, straightforward features, last updates always added nice ones. HEVC is one of them and it's great ! For last rating, you are gonna laugh but gess what: something that works, that get nice updates with new options, that is easy to use (once you try for 20min I agree), and that is FREE, gets a simple 10.
