Mario Plushie. This pattern has been a long time in the posting. I've argued with myself over whether or not I should sell this one, but I just couldn't do it. I know it would sell well, and I surely do need the money, but the whole reason I began making these FAN ART plushes was because I know very well how hard it is to find good patterns to make things like these for the kids. I started out looking for patterns to make for my kids, and I found none that I could afford and so started making them myself. I will mention though that if anyone feels inclined to make a donation for the patterns I offer for free here, I have a donation button on the right hand side of the page, the amount is up to you and every donation is deeply appreciated.

I do have an Etsy shop where I sell some of my original designs, but I do not sell FAN ART patterns there, those patterns I always offer for free here, because I don't believe FAN ART should be shared on condition of payment, it's a labor of love. Gemini, The Two-Headed Dragon - Amigurumi Pattern pattern by Paola Navarro. Amigurumi Tiny Turtle. Free Turtle Toy Knitting Pattern by Raynor Gellatly. I love amigurumi toys, but its extremely hard to find knitting patterns as most amigurumi patterns are for crochet. So being inspired by these tiny striped turtles on crochetville I have come up with my very own little knitted amigurumi turtle. I think he turned out rather cute, unfortunately I stuffed his head a little too much so he is a little head heavy but other than that very cute! He measures a tiny 3.5" long and 2" tall however you can knit him on a larger needle size for a slightly larger turtle, but i always think the smaller the toy the cuter it gets.

If you knit him please show off your work and join my flickr group i'd love to see a little army of turtles, in all different colors. If anyone has ever seen the magically whimsical film Amelie then they will know about the story of the travelling gnome. If you haven't seen it then basically it tells the tale of a gnome who was stolen from her fathers garden and only to be returned with pictures of him at famous landmarks around the world!

So when I seen the Simply a gnome! Pattern by Else Tennessen I knew I had to make a knitted version, just like the little Amalie gnome. Here's pictures of my very own little gnome on his travels. I’d been batting around the idea for awhile of knitting him up a toy version of the Grumpasaur & came up with this little guy. I thought he was cute enough to share with all of you. This was supposed to be a stocking stuffer for Christmas & then a Valentine’s Day gift but I actually just finished it yesterday.

I had to keep starting over to get the shapes I wanted for the body & the tail. Of, course you don’t have to make your dinosaur grumpy, have fun embroidering any expression you want. He’s also pretty darn cute without the comb. This pattern came to be when a knitter emailed me after spying a tiny striped elephant on a shelf in Itty-Bitty Hats on page 18. She wanted to know where to get the pattern.

I had no idea where that elephant came from until a friend (thanks Renee) told me about this . I am sure the original is a crocheted toy from this site and boy oh boy, are the other toys available here ever cute. I decided to make a pattern for a knitted version of this little guy and share it with you here. Have fun and please let me see your finished Elefante! Is it their baby-wide eyes? Their mysterious nighttime habits? Or their totemic gumdrop shape? I’m not sure, but owls somehow manage to be simultaneously enigmatic and totally lovable. This one is heavy on the lovable! Making the Big Snowy Owl was probably the most fun knitting I’ve done all year. Materials For the Main Yarn: 4 skeins of Blue Sky’s Bulky, 50% Alpaca and 50% Wool.
