Grimm Fairy Tales Animated Series ( Zenescope ) by Joe Brusha

More information on Kicking it Forward. We, at Zenescope Entertainment, find it hard to believe that Grimm Fairy Tales is approaching its 75th issue. When we started publishing the comic book back in 2005, we just hoped it would make it to issue six so we could collect it into a graphic novel. But at some point it took on a life of its own; we began to dream of all the possibilities and mediums it could be translated into. Wouldn’t it make a great live action TV series?

Then we met a very talented director named Jon Schnepp. The goal of $175,000 is for the pilot. Kickstarter has been a great resource for creative minds to get the support they need to bring their dreams to life. We also want to include you, the fan, in the process as much as possible. OD: Can you describe some of the animals that will be battling in this Great War? MLM: There are basically five species involved; wolves, tigers, monkeys, elephants, and mongoose/meerkats.

On top of the species, you have lone animals that fans of the original JUNGLE BOOK will be familiar with. OD: How do the factions differ from a personality perspective, not just combat? Comic Reviews, News, and Forums. ComiXology Blog. Sheltered #8 is out today, and Curt is still a dick.

Sheltered (by edbrisson & jchristmas) is another one of those comics that seems to be staying a bit below the radar (for now), but everyone I’ve ever talked to who reads it thinks it’s awesome. It’s Lord of the Flies with Doomsday Preppers. It’s Kid Nation with guns. Anyone remember Kid Nation??? [Read Sheltered on comiXology] Stop what you’re doing right now and read Elektra #1 by W Haden Blackman and Mike Del Mundo (deadlydelmundo). Or just stare at it, mouth agape, like I have been for the past 20 minutes… [Elektra #1 on comiXology] A comiXologist Recommends:Leah Wishnia recommends The Walking Dead #126 Part twelve of the All out War story arc, the finish line after a series of war games filled with surprising strategies, deceitful trickery, and of course, death, asks us to do something seemingly more difficult than taking down an army of grenade-bearing men or escape from a herd of the undead…. it asks us to trust.
