Between 2001 and 2003, she worked for the AVINA Foundation in Latin America as strategic initiatives manager supporting the development of social and environmental leaders in the region.

She has also worked for UNIDO on the Better Work in Textiles Bangladesh Project in partnership with Centre for Sustainable Fashion of the London College of Fashion, which develops capacity for creative thinking and entrepreneurial skills around the concepts of sustainability and innovation.
