Looney Labs announced today that in an effort to increase efficiency in the market and to expand their marketing support of retail stores, they will be condensing their distribution network, effective immediately. In the U.S. hobby game market, Looney Labs game titles will be available through ACD Distribution and Alliance/Diamond Game Distributors. In Canada, Lion Rampant will become Looney Lab's primary distributor, while Publisher Services, Inc.

M any mysteries lie hidden in the pack of playing cards, which has been with us since the 14th century. What do the oldest surviving cards look like? Playing Cards have been associated with gambling and anti-social behaviour leading to their being demonised by church preachers. In Victorian family circles card games were enjoyed by the fireside. Playing cards give us understanding of characteristic features of periods, ideas, beliefs and experiences of people in the past, reflecting past eras and ways of life.
This section of the card games site is devoted to new games played with existing cards. The idea is to provide a forum for card game inventors to publish their ideas, and to try out and comment on each other's games. Traditional card games will not be found here, but in the main body of the site (see for example the alphabetical index ). New games which require a special pack of cards designed for that game, which you have to buy from the publisher, will also not be found here.
