Food Safari. Daring Bakers Challenge : Chocolate covered Marshmallow Cookies. (Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Cookies) The July Daring Bakers’ challenge was hosted by Nicole at Sweet Tooth. She chose Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Cookies and Milan Cookies from pastry chef Gale Gand of the Food Network. Avert your eyes now if the idea of a supersized chocolate covered marshmallow cookie cake, sounds like too much to digest. To explain, let me start at the very beginning.

This month, I somehow managed (once again) to leave the DB challenge until the last minute, so I opted to make just the marshmallow cookies, as they were something I hadn’t tried before. Of course, my mind tends to wander, so while the cookie dough was chilling, I took a fancy to making Alice Medrich’s peanut butter-chocolate torte.

Since I was already in marshmallow-mode, it made perfect sense at the time, to convert the peanut butter torte into a peanut butter and jelly marshmallow torte! (Could I get at least one person telling me that it’s not such a crazy idea.. please?) Recipes, recipes and recipes - Taste. High Tea Inspiration {DIY. Well hello there Pretty Blog readers! Before I present the first of many DIY projects, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bianca Packham and I run a boutique stationery studio in Cape Town called Lucky No. 9. I’m passionate about paper and try to infuse that perfect touch of whimsy in each design I create.

In addition to making invitations I love to craft and so to help all those DIY brides out there, I’ll be sharing projects you can make at home – all you’ll need is a printer and some good old-fashioned creativity. As we head into spring I thought it would be the perfect time to create a set of High Tea stationery. These lacy Tea Tags, Invitations and Thank You cards are perfect for a kitchen tea, bridesmaid’s luncheon or just a get together between friends. After your guests receive their Lacy Invites in the mail, they’ll love the attention to detail when they see the custom tea tags on their chosen blend.
