The Abominable Charles Christopher - A Webcomic by Karl Kerschl
Get an original drawing in your copy of The Abominable Charles Christopher: Book One ! These have been unavailable since before Christmas but I’ve freed up some time to offer them again. Sketches are of random characters from the Cedar Forest and are drawn using pen, ink and marker (example above). All of them come signed by the author (that’s me!)
I guess when you’re thinking up ways to really screw an entire culture over, it can be difficult to make them all chart toppers. It’s not like this was even the first time the Big Guy had to work on this kind of thing. Here’s a trick they taught us in art school: it’s all about volume; the more you produce, the more likely you are to land some hits. Passover is the celebration of the deliverance of the Children of Israel from Egypt where they were slaves. It begins with the story of the birth of Moses, a newborn baby Israelite, at a time when the Pharaoh had ordered all newborn Hebrew babes be thrown into the Nile.

There has never been a more singular influence in my work and career, and his passing has been deeply felt by the world of comics and pop art. While many in America may not recognize the name, Moebius has had a heavy hand in the direction of modern science fiction since the early 1970s, including Alien , Bladerunner and Tron .

Yesss ;_____; First of all thanks so much to my friend L, who got this site running in record time because he is amazing. He seriously did it all in a few hours over this and last weekend, I don’t have enough vocabulary to thank him enough. At the moment we’re looking at a once-a-week update schedule because I’ve got this fucking big test coming up but once I get my pace on I’m going to try to make it M-F. At the moment I’m considering W updates, but maybe M if I can get all my shit together so who knows?!?!
...and I would desperately like to post more very soon, but making bad update predictions repeatedly is probably the worst thing I can do. I apologize for doing that. Let's just say I'll be doing my best with the time I have, and leave it at that.

Two isn't enough, four is one more than necessary.
No comic this week, just some doodles. Decided to have some fun drawing some of my recent game avatars. Seems I’m pretty set in my digital ways when it comes to custom characters. Just an endless sea of cropped, white haired girls usually with hoodies and blank, far-off expressions. Lastly, add in a an ocular oddity, like a vertical scar or an eye-patch and that wraps it up. Gonna keep this short; I Just want to plug a few very nice and creative folks we met over at AoD, that convention we were hanging out at earlier this month.
That should do it. All the comics are loaded back in. I still need to restore the rants, especially the ones that contained comics, like the Morrowind Mod one. I also still need tinker with the archive pages.
