To finish the skirt, I removed my supplies from the basement so I could hang with Hawk and go through our list of possible baby middle names. (Much harder than we expected, might I add--choosing middle names.) Hawk snapped a photo, and I can say with all humor, it is not my best. It also made us realize that we REALLY need to find some wall art. Step Eight: To Connect or Not? My inspiration for this crib skirt came from YoungHouseLove, and they connected the sides of the crib skirt to the front. See that? So TAKE NOTE: Figure out whether you can attach the sides and front and make them one piece before deciding to do so! Step Eight: Stand Back and See How It Looks We plopped down a freshly-washed mattress sheet over the crib mattress and stepped back to consider the final product.

The Mom to be loves candy, so the hostess designed the whole shower around a bag of skittles.
It was a “taste the rainbow” color scheme with black and white as the neutrals. It turned out fabulous. I helped by first designing the invitation. I loved how it turned out and it got rave reviews from the guests. The hostess did a lot of planning during the months leading up to the baby shower, and there were many planning and crafting days to get everything perfect. One of the biggest projects was putting together the lollipop and skittle centerpieces. The day of the party everything came together beautifully, I helped with setting up the candy buffet, while others set the tables and arranged the food.
