SPICY MISO RAMEN-EXPRESS – Lady and Pups – an angry food blog

I thought perhaps a harmless little breakfast pancake can be nice, glistening syrup under the hopeful morning light that symbolizes a new start within me… Or, perhaps, a statement-recipe like a creme brûlée and ham french toasts-sandwich that’s simple, but flaunting and strange enough to revitalize this blog’s otherwise-subtle individuality in the year to come… Or better yet, perhaps a complete slacker-post on a summary of everything that could and has gone wrong in my kitchen in 2013… kinda hey~ here’s a fine collection of things you probably don’t wanna eat but don’t I sound really cute talking about it? But instead, this came out… And believe me, although it may not look remotely that way, this is taking-it-easy, well… as far as Japanese ramen goes. Before you check out and mark this url as the blog on everything you would never wanna make in your own home, you are… probably half-right but NOT on this particular example. Jjamppong: Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup.

I didn’t always like spicy food.

Jjamppong: Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup

As a kid, it took me a while before I could tolerate spicy. And now, I can’t get enough heat! If you’ve tasted jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) before, you know what a glorious day today is .. Why, you ask? Because I’m sharing this fabulous recipe with you all and now you can make this at home! It’s funny. . when you don’t have something around anymore, you miss it terribly. I don’t mind though because it has forced me to learn how to make some of my childhood favorites. Nothing says comfort more than a big bowl of jjamppong. And guess what? If you’re a Korean food, Chinese food and/or seafood lover, you will LOVE this.

Eclectic Recipes. Zuppa Toscana A couple of weeks ago we had lunch with my husband’s grandmother.

Eclectic Recipes

She picked one of her lunchtime favorite spots, Olive Garden. Even though it’s not our favorite spot, I knew we could find something on the menu that wasn’t that bad. We told her we hadn’t been there in years and asked her to suggest something good. She told us we’d love their Zuppa Toscana soup. Even though our soup at Olive Gaerden was the best thing I have ever had on their menu, I still couldn’t wait to get home and try Grandma’s perfected copycat recipe out. So a few days later, I got all the ingredients and followed her recipe exactly. Here is her recipe.
