Tiene mucho encanto y con una historia fascinante de más de 100 años. Situada en la calle Rue de la Bûcherie, en el Barrio Latino. Al principio se llamó "Le Mistral", luego se cambió el nombre a "Shakespeare and Company". En la actualidad, la librería sigue estando administrada por la misma familia, y los dependientes suelen ser estudiantes que están en París de paso, que trabajan ahí para poder dormir en las camas del piso de arriba.
