They were very slow to respond to emails, spread their initial interest over many months, ignored emails to meet when both parties happened to be in the same city and finally did not have the balls to say no (more ignored emails) Had to find out from a separate source their interest was over. We negotiated for three months. Right when we thought we had a deal they came up with 5 more things they wanted to see changed. That was the end of the deal for us.

Gave a pitch to Nic Brisbourne who seemed lethargic/distracted during the meeting. He wasn't very focused on our presentation so I assume he had other things on his mind. Later on, asked him some questions/feedback but he wasn't helpful.

Carmel staff know to communicate efficiently and directly with start-up companies, stating at first their initial impression. Afterwards their first due diligence phase is short. We got soon a negative reply followed by a reason (their own one) - which allowed us to concentrate in other alternatives. PRIVATE: Members Only (150 Characters) Probably the BEST investment company in Israel. Unfortunately this is a VC and not an investment company.
Eden is a small fund run by multiple serial entrepreneurs. Having pitched to them as an entrepreneur and consultant several times they have always taking our pitches very seriously, leaned forward and offered advice. They have pressured us to be part of the process, rescheduled more than once, the partner was replaced at the last moment by a junior. The overall feeling is of lost time, non-professionalism. It's simply been the worst attitude I've seen in a long time.
