Ghana Summer Volunteer. Program Details & Itinerary - Week 1 Day 1 (Arrival on Friday) - Akwaaba !! – Welcome to Ghana - Arrival and Welcome for the volunteers. Arrival will be at Kotoka International Airport, Accra. You will be met by Volunteering Solutions coordinators on arrival. On the day of arrival , accommodation will be provided in a hotel or guest house in Accra.
Please note that all volunteers need to arrive in Accra on this day only. Day 2 - Transfer to Project Location - On the second day, volunteers will travel to the project city, Tamale by flight. Day 3 - Local City tour and Orientation - Volunteering Solutions program coordinators will provide important information about the safety, culture and give a tour of Tamale to the volunteers informing about the internet café, banks, restaurants and markets. Day 4 - Project Introduction – Visit your project, meet the local staff and begin the volunteer work. Day 5-8 - Continue with the Volunteer project work. Week 2 Day 6 - 7 - Weekend Tours Week - 3. Palampur India Summer Volunteer. Day 1 - Arrival - You will be picked up from Delhi Airport and transferred to your accommodation. Relax for the day or you can venture out to the local market. Day 2 After breakfast your coordinators will be discussing with you your program itinerary for the days to come and give you a briefing about the do's and dont's and the program.
You will be starting the first leg of Delhi Tour by visiting some of the most famous places such as India Gate, Swami Narayan Temple and Akshardham Temple ( World's Largest Temple).For the evening let us welcome you with an authentic traditional Indian meal with the rest of the group. Day 3 Continue the Delhi Tour and visit World Heritage monuments Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. The group would also be visiting the beautiful Lotus Temple.In between stop for lunch to savour the famous South Indian cuisine. Day 4 - 8 Volunteer work begins.Volunteers will be working in the Street Children or Orphanage Project in Delhi.
Day 9 - Golden Triangle Tour Begins. Nepal Summer Volunteer. Detailed Program itinerary is given below: - DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu - One day before the program start date Arrival at Kathmandu airport. Pickup and transfer to accommodation. Rest and Welcome Dinner in the Evening. Day 2: Basic orientation in the morning which will include safety guidelines, transportation in Kathmandu, local markets and more about your stay in Nepal. Day 2 to Day 21: Volunteers work in either Orphanage,Teaching Project or with mentally – physically disabled children for 3 weeks. Sightseeing Tours included on the Weekends Weekend – 1 Volunteers will leave in the morning for sightseeing of capital city Kathmandu and then ‘sister' cities like Patan and Bhaktapur. Nagarkot by private car for fantastic Himalayan mountain views. Weekend – 2 Volunteers will leave early morning to visit Pokhara by air conditioned deluxe bus.
Accommodation & Food Volunteers will be staying in the volunteer house or host families during the program. What are the Program locations in Nepal? Delhi India Summer Volunteer. Cusco Peru Summer Volunteer. Program Schedule One day before the Program start Date: Cusco airport pick up and transfer to volunteer residence or host families to unpack and rest. Day 1: Orientation and Cusco city tour Volunteers will receive the orientation at the Volunteering Solutions Office early in the morning.
Then you will do a city tour which includes Qoricancha (The temple of the Sun), Cathedral, and then we go by bus to visit the four ruins at less than 8 km from Cusco, including Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enormous carved rocks and Q´enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. The tour is done on a Tourist bus and is for approximately five hours duration. Weekdays : Volunteering at Intercultural projects Our Social projects seeks to contribute to the development of the poorest families in our population, principally in poor rural areas and marginalized urban areas in order for them to attain integral human development, which translates into better living conditions in harmony with nature.
Weekend Excursions. Israel Summer Volunteer. Program Requirements Volunteers must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the program. Volunteers should be open minded and willing to experience new cultures. Volunteer should also be fluent in English and be interested in working with children and youth. Project Location The project is located in Mughar, which is situated in Northern Israel and is a unique multicultural village overlooking the beautiful Sea of Galilee.The town has a diverse religious and ethnic population comprising of Druze, Christians and Muslims.
During Free Time Volunteers will participate in a day trip to the beautiful Sea of Galilee and other local attractions. What we provide Orientation: Volunteers will start their program with Orientation in Jerusalem. Lodging and Food: Volunteers will be staying in a Dorm style accommodation in Jerusalem during the orientation day. Insurance: Volunteers have the option to purchase Travel and Medical Insurance at a nominal extra cost from Volunteering Solutions. Thailand Summer Volunteer. Day 1 Arrival : Let us take the hassle away from you by arranging a private pick up from the airport direct to your hotel. Relax for the evening or venture out onto Khao San road on your own for a taste of what’s to come. You can tell us all about it tomorrow morning! Day 2 After a pleasant cup of coffee, your Guide will discuss your iteniary. Expect to take in the sights, sounds and smells of Bangkok on your first night in this bustling city. We will go into detail on every aspect of your trip from cultural faux pas and essential phrases, to the day to day logistics of getting from A to B.
For the 'Grand Bangkok Tour'. You will be guided through the busy city streets to arrive at the most sacred temple in Thailand, The Grand Palace or Wat Phra Kaew which is the seat of the deeply revered Thai Royal family. Day 3 Ready to shop for souvenirs? Day 4 Today you will support an established NGO that provides essential care for some of Bangkok’s most underprivileged communities. Day 7- 10.
