This time I decided to make it with those mini fruit flavored marshmallows. I had to sort them by colour first. I figured they would add a little bit of flavor to the fondant so I wouldn't have to add much flavoring oil. I use gel colours to dye my fondant but regular food colouring will work too. You won't be able to get really dark colours without making your fondant sticky, but for lighter colours you can just even it out with more icing sugar. I also had lemon oil and coconut flavoring on hand.. oh la la the value brand (which still works fine).

Caramelized Chicken with Jalapeno Cream

I watched my Grandmother's face when she realized that I hadn't handed her a hard boiled egg but rather a cake baked inside a real egg shell. Her eyes were filled with wonder and I could envision what she must have looked like as a tyke the very first time she saw a red balloon float across the sky or the the trunk of a giant elephant spewing a stream of water. "Crack it on the table," I told her. Eggs were cracked, cupcakes were eaten, and I was perceived as a cupcake Houdini. http://www.cupcakeproject.com/2011/04/easter-cupcakes-baked-in-real-egg.html

Lunch Lady Bars |

http://www.tasteandtellblog.com/lunch-lady-bars/ Do you attend cookie exchanges this time of year? I’ve only ever attended a couple of them in my life, but every year, I tell myself that I’m either going to attend one or host one. Of course, this usually doesn’t happen. But I’m so excited because this year, I actually am attending one, and I couldn’t be more excited. My mind has been filled with cookie ideas, and I’ve been scouring cookbooks, trying to decide what I want to take. There are about a million cookies I’d like to try, but guess what?
I’m sorry for doing this to you. I really am. But see, last Friday while I was on a 10-hour road trip heading for vacation, I received this recipe from a reader named Liz. Liz, I love you. That’s all I have to say. I was tortured by this recipe for a full 8 days before I could make it.
