Nakon više od deset godina čekanja i teško izvojevane borbe za svoja radnička prava, radnici jedne tvornice keramičkih pločica u Argentini, krajem prošle godine dočekali su dan kad im je njihova država i službeno potvrdila da tvornica pripada njima.

Zauzimanjem tvornice koju je strani gazda napustio, potvrdili su tezu da radnička sloga može učiniti više, nego svi birokratizirani sindikati i europski socijaldemokrati. Prije oko dva mjeseca su vlasti u Argentini i službeno potvrdile legitimitet radničke samouprave u vlasništvu nad tvornicom onima kojima je Zanon bio zadnja linija obrane kada je Argentina proglasila bankrot zbog dugova koje su proizveli političari pogodujući krupnom kapitalu.

Kako bi razumjeli zašto su argentinske vlasti dali za pravo radnicima, koji su (pravno gledano) zauzeli tuđi posjed i proglasili ga svojom imovinom, moramo se vratiti na sam početak priče. 90-te nisu počele dobro ni za Zanona, ni za Argentinu.
