I've been playing around with a lot of experimental texture making processes lately. One of those involves pouring, painting, and splatter bleach on pretty much every surface I can find to see how it interacts. I've bleached concrete, wood, paper, and other surfaces on the last few days, all with interesting results. This is a set of bleached paper textures I've put together for you. One of the amazing new features in Photoshop CS6, which has been released as a free beta version recently, is the Type Styles feature. This feature enables you to define text styles, for both paragraphs and characters, in a very similar way as in InDesign. This means that you can change the appearance of any text you have easily and quickly. A real time saver when working with many text layers or large text blocks in a file.

Photoshop fire effects can be easily obtained using fire brushes . The realistic fire or flame brushes are made using fire stock images and their quality is very important. To obtain a decent looking flame brush, the fire image has to have a black black background. Or the person that makes the brush has to be very patient and crop the fire shape carefully. Beside the realistic fire brushes, I have also added some abstract fire flames that are great for creating tattoos, T-shirt design and so on.
