About What The Flicka | What The Flicka? Italian stuffed cabbage. Prior to November, what I knew of stuffed cabbage rolls were limited to the Jewish/Eastern European variety, which I make the way my mother-in-law does. I hadn’t given it further thought because as far as I was concerned, it was never broken, and needed little improvement, and when there’s little room for me to tinker in the kitchen, I quickly lose interest. But if I had, it might have occurred to me that cabbage, being one of the ultimate peasant foods, has probably been wrapped around meat that’s been ground and then stretched (always budget-minded, those peasants) with other ingredients and cooked in a sauce in a zillion different ways over the centuries.

And oh, the fun we might have been having this whole time. You could say I ran to the kitchen. And yet, when a dish torments you as long as this one has and you finally have a potential path to unlocking its greatness at home, am I the only one who melodramatically fears disappointment? Will this really be it at last?

Grace(full)Plate — A full plate of culinary indulgence in cooking, traveling and dining out with Grace Boyle. About | Small Hands, Big Ideas. Hey there. My name is Grace. Thanks for stopping by. This blog has been a living breathing part of who I am, since 2008. The name, I admit, is silly. It came randomly after jokingly acknowledging my small hands (they really are) and the way I’m constantly scheming with new ideas for, well, everything. I honestly thought just my mom would read my blog. Little did I know… This blog has lead to one of my first jobs, business opportunities, freelance writing, so many close friends, being featured on Forbes’ Top 100 Websites for Women and Top 10 Millenial Women and really, just opened me up to the online world.

I work in the startup world as Director of Customer Success at Kapost, in Boulder, Colorado. I have a serious hankering for food and really the entire process that brings us together, no matter where we’re from or our tradition – it binds us. I’m a dreamer and someone who never goes a day without laughing. You can learn a little bit about all the places I’ve been online and off below: Hollow Easter egg cereal bar treats. Make these easy and delicious rice cereal eggs with your little ones for Easter! They are hollow so you can put anything you desire inside for a nice surprise treat! Ingredients: 6 cups rice cereal4 cups mini marshmallows3 tablespoons buttermedium- to large-sized plastic Easter eggs Directions: You'll make the regular rice cereal treats as directed: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and the marshmallows on high for three minutes, stirring at two minutes. Pour the rice cereal and mix together until the rice cereal is well coated.

Wash the plastic Easter eggs and dry. Spray butter spray lightly on the insides of the eggs. Stick little chunks of rice cereal on the inside edges of the egg. Using your thumb, pat the inside edges firmly so the rice cereal becomes smooth and firm. Repeat to the other half part of the plastic egg. Close the egg tightly. Open the egg and take out the rice cereal egg. Close the egg together. Gently push down on both sides of the egg to close off any gaps in between. Danielle LaPorte: white hot truth + sermons on life. My team and I were talking about Brooklyn-based neon artist, Matt Dilling, whose philosophy on light was, well, transcendental. A minute later we were jamming about a #Truthbomb app we’re developing. And then zing-zap — the topics collided. Hey… what if … we made …. like, a neon #Truthbomb?! So we did! You can find the details on my new EXHIBITION art series here.

We reached out to Matt and he gave us the magic Yes! Your true nature is luminous. In terms of creative thrills, having this delivered to my doorstep is up there with receiving the first box of my own books. Matt Dilling, Neon Artist Life & work spaces are best treated as temples…. with style. If you’re a collector, a seeker, an indulger, or you’re in the proverbial dark… light up your life — with the truth. We’re launching this new EXHIBITION series with just 5 copies of this neon #Truthbomb. Blogs without topics are a waste of time. Stop thinking that you are such an incredibly wide-ranging thinker with so many interests and insights that you cannot be pinned down to just one topic. The top bloggers are all wide-ranging thinkers. That's why they are interesting. The more information and angles you can draw from, the more interesting your insights are.

I challenge you to think of a popular blogger who lacks focus on their blog. In the history of writing, everything has a focus. It’s a contract you have with the reader. Think about it: Canterbury Tales. I challenge you to find a great piece of writing with no topic. Even columnists stick to their focus. You can write about any topic, but you have to link it to your focus. Look my blog: Do you need me to tell you to use bullets instead of paragraphs on your resume? But I can only get you to read me if you come knowing what you expect. Sometimes you just need a little patience: I knew for years that I wanted to write about abortion. Also, show some respect for yourself.
