SUPERBA I Alto $ 2200 Tenor $ 2800 Baritone $3300 SUPERBA II Alto $1800 Tenor $2200 Baritone $3000 Before the current model lineup evolved, Keilworth imported some nice horns stamped "The New King" with rolled tone holes and plastic key guards (must be intact) that have a small following. Alto $1000 Tenor $1200 Except for the Saxello, I can’t find anybody expressing much interest in the Kings made before the Zephyr.
These horns are under appreciated . The name alone inspires reverence. MODELE 22 750 – 4450 The earliest examples are stamped Serie 22. and have a unique side Bb mechanism. Alto $2000 Tenor $2700 Soprano $ 2200 Alto $ 2800 Tenor $ 3600. L'atelier des soufflants. BuySaxophones.info. No Comments Anybody know what the value of this antique saxophone could be? I found an antique sax in an antique shop.
It was made in 1919 at the Elkhart Indiana Band Instrument Co. The research I have done so far brings me to the conclusion that it was made by Beuscher, not Conn because it is LP (low pitch) The serial number is 52263. It is silver plated on the outside and brass on the inside. It is in very good condition, and plays decent. Your sax isn’t as old as 1919, the Elkhart Band Instrument Co. only began business in 1923.
