Le blog de Jolicours. Tony Cragg, né le 9 avril 1949 à Liverpool, est un sculpteur britannique; aujourd’hui il vit et travaille en Allemagne.

Il porte un intérêt tout particulier au monde industriel et aux produits qui en sont issus. L’oeuvre de Tony Cragg s’articule essentiellement autour de l’objet. Dans les années 70, il collecte des détritus, des cartons d’emballage, des matériaux industriels usagés, des bouts de plastiques, les installe au sol, et détourne ainsi les déchets de la société de consommation pour en faire de grandes compositions colorées. On peut s’ inspirer de Tony Cragg pour mettre en place différents projets. D’abord collecter des objets en plastique, les trier par couleur, puis les assembler, afin qu’une fois collés, ceux-ci représentent quelque chose de figuratif (arbre, feuille et bouteille).

Making a Fairy Garden. This idea has been on our to-do list for a long time and finally, when the sun was still shining (remember that, UK folks?!)

We had a go at making our own fairy garden for outdoor play times. I actually bought the supplies for this while Cakie had chicken pox, as a special surprise for us to do together. She was thrilled to have another patch of garden to call her own (to add to her Play Garden and Vegetable Patch) and was particularly excited to have flowers to care for.
