Sometimes you just want to give one beautiful egg or a few choice candies to a favorite teacher, co-worker, or friend, and this little presentation is perfect. The whole thing is constructed from two kinds of felt: regular wool or acrylic felt, and Friendly Felt, which is a recycled-fiber stiff felt. Fusing the two together, you can really construct just about anything. The boxes make up in just a few minutes, and decorating them gives you a great excuse to rummage about in your stash. - Felt - coated box. Yikes, I am just riddled with guilt over this- Has it really been almost two weeks? Final exams consumed my brain and free time, forcing me to abandon all conscious thought that didn’t involve either statistics or “logic” (Which, in case you were considering signing up for, is the worst class EVER. You would be better off sticking your head in the ground and seeing how many earth worms crawled up your nose in the course of a semester instead.) I was fascinated by them, each pool was like a small secret world. There were orange and purple sea stars, tiny little fish, and flower-like sea anemones. When I stuck my finger in an anemone's mouth it's sticky petal-like tentacles would close around it, thinking it was food (this probably isn't a nice thing to do to an anemone, but it certainly made an impression on me). My love for the ocean and all of its creatures has only grown in the subsequent years.

I did some snorkeling in Hawaii and saw fish of every size, shape and color though the crystal clear water. Big to do list for the little peeps, more felt food tutorials than you can poke a stick...
