Daniel Mountford's Double Exposures Are Created In Camera All images by Daniel Mountford. Used with permission. Photographer Daniel Mountford is a creative designer who has an incredible Behance profile as well as some of the more interesting double exposures that you’ll probably see. Dan does his work all in-camera with little bits of post-production to give a filter effect. This comes from his experience using Holga cameras; and he tells us that learning to do that on film was quite a process involving trial and error. His creative vision for his double exposures is one that stems from combining emotions with memories connected to specific people in his life. Phoblographer: Talk to us about how you got into photography. Dan: Whilst studying Graphic Design at college, I took a darkroom techniques evening class and my interest in photography started there. Phoblographer: What inspired you to want to create double exposure portraits? Dan: I was really inspired by more abstract photography than conventional. Like what you read?

2nd grade This brilliant idea comes from Reggio Children Inspired, and I experimented with it a bit today. I used an xacto knife to cut slits on the flat side of large bubble wrap, and stuffed the inside with yarn. I love how it makes a messy bunch of scraps look like nice neat little balls – too cool! My mind is sufficiently blown now with all the possibilities, because this could make some great outdoor, as well as indoor art.

Maciej Dakowicz - photographer Crafts for Kids: Tissue Paper Butterflies - Playdough To Plato | Playdough To Plato Activity for ages 4 to 8. The sun is shining, thermometers are climbing and that can only mean one thing… spring is on its way. This spring-themed butterfly craft project can easily be modified for preschoolers to second graders and is a perfect compliment to our popular bugs and butterflies math and literacy unit. To Prep Before asking my daughter to join me, I gathered my supplies: Various colors of tissue papers cut into 2 inch squares12″ x 18″ black construction paper12″ x 18″ white construction paperA pencil {a white crayon would work well too}ScissorsWhite glueWatercolor paintbrush {or any soft brush} I folded the black construction paper in half and then used my pencil to draw one half of a butterfly. I placed the tissue paper squares on a tray and poured a glob of white glue into a bowl. To Create Since we had been talking about Spring and the life cycle of a butterfly, I told my daughter that we were going to create a butterfly craft. I love collages because anything goes.
