How Much Income Do You Need To Buy A House? Source: flickr user images of money If you’re in the market for a new home, chances are you’ll have to compromise at some point along the way. Maybe you’ll have to commute a little farther than you’d like in order to get the best value for your money. Or perhaps you’ll forgo a huge backyard to be closer to the city. And when it comes to finances, you might find a disparity between how much house you want and how much house you can purchase given your gross monthly income and other factors. Home loans are made against your ability to repay. Simply put, the amount of income you need to purchase a house will vary by your payment comfort level, including any other monthly debt obligations you might have. Important terms Mortgage payment: Principal, interest, property taxes insurance and mortgage insurance, if needed Consumer debts: Minimum payment obligations on things such as auto loans, credit cards, student loans, personal loans and installment loans Running the math Down payment Impact of debt

Le Blog de Bruno Rebelle PATHJOY GirlsInTech Pick Their Top 100 Women In Tech In Europe While in the US the visibility of women in technology startups is pretty well established, in Europe it’s suffered a little from the more general problem of the fragmented nature of the European tech scene. Things have improved slightly in recent years (at least that’s my impression, although who knows about the stats on the ground?), but it remains the case that there are far more men than women. So lifting the visibility of women in technology is no bad thing, especially if it encourages other women to pursue careers in tech startups, which are typically more about meritocratic, flat management that the traditional “IT” roles. So it’s a welcome moment that the newly established Girls in Tech London group (@girlsintech_uk) has announced their pick of the Top 100 women in tech in Europe. The final list is unranked, so we’ve put it in alphabetical order (we’ll try to update with Twitter handles etc in due course):

The Psychology of Colors The psychology behind color has been well documented. Red makes you hungry, pink rooms calm you down, and green is very tranquil. Today’s infographic does a very good job of breaking down the primary and secondary colors that affect us the most and in what ways. The infographic starts off by informing the reader on what colors suit certain rooms the best. From there it goes more into the psychology of the primary colors, divulging a secret unknown to me. It also speaks on how companies use a given color to pull at our heartstrings and wallets for their own gain. Share This Infographic Get Free Infographics Delivered to your Inbox
