Reviews - Made for Each Other - Film Reviews - New U.S. Release - Review by John Anderson A lack-of-sex comedy that somehow features a barnyard’s worth of rutting human animals, “Made for Each Other” is often wryly hilarious, completely overboard and unpredictable. Pairing an utterly absurd premise with an attractive and talented cast, the pic seems made for IFC’s video-on-demand platform, where it’s amusing the couch-bound alongside its limited New York theatrical run. It’s not clear exactly how, but everybody in town knows that Danny (Christopher Kennedy Masterson, “Malcolm in the Middle”) and Marci (Bijou Phillips) haven’t consummated their union after three months of marriage. This, naturally, yields an occasionally unappetizing smorgasbord of innuendo served up by elderly neighbors, co-workers and the habitues of the wing joint where Danny and his fellow vulgarians drip hot sauce, beer and obscene observations. Production values are just fine. Production An IFC Films release of a Texas Jew/Offshoot/Cigar Smoking Dago production in association with Moderncine Prods. Crew

Five Best Movie Recommendation Services @twDarkflame: Hire a designer and improve the quality of the screenshots on your home page. @mishra: I'm going to vectorize that image probably. Was trying to do something like vark.com has, only not quite so big. I know it looks pretty bad at the moment, but I think there needs to be some sort of explanation of purpose on the front-page. (the image has only been there about a week) As for a designer; that would first require me to make some money to hire one ;) @twDarkflame: Check out the competition, copy what they do well but remember if everything else is better than yours who is going to bother using your site? @nunpa: Well, thats the thing...I know this sounds arrogant...But -don't- see the other sites I try as better then mine :-/ (at least, fundamental better then mine) I know I got a long way to go style wise, but I think my site is better then most from a feature and usefulness standpoint. (In that way Criticker is by far the closest to mine in principle)
