Christ's Human Nature The most dangerous counterfeit is the one that most nearly resembles the true. This is why religious counterfeits are so deadly and are often tolerated rather than identified and exposed. Christians in general are afraid that they will be misunderstood if they attack something that looks so much like the finest thing in religion. Since there is often only a thin line separating the best from the worst, they fear being charged with attacking the genuine if they oppose the counterfeit. Has Satan fabricated some look-alike perversions of the most sacred doctrines in Christianity? Many sincere Christians argue that the parallel views are so close together that no issue should be made over them. Is it possible that our mighty psychological adversary has actually anticipated these predictable human reactions and has skillfully created subtle deviations from the truth that will seldom be recognized and resisted? Original Sin Fallen or Unfallen Nature? Is this a serious digression from truth?
Who Is Michael The Archangel? When King Humbert of Italy inherited the throne, Naples teetered on the verge of insurrection against the monarchy. Politicians urged violent measures to force the people into submission, but the king did not allow this. Then cholera suddenly broke out in the city, and the dreaded disease raged with fury. Understanding Tongues An Amazing Fact Legend has it that when the Greeks were unable to capture the city of Troy even after imposing a 10-year siege, they finally resorted to a clever stratagem. The Greek army pretended to sail away and left on the shore a huge, hollow wooden horse as an apparent victory gift. However, the gift was actually filled with several armed warriors! Sinon, a Greek spy inside Troy, persuaded the Trojans to bring the horse within the city walls, saying that to do so would mysteriously make Troy invincible. That night Sinon released the troops hiding in the gigantic horse. Differences of Interpretation A gift from an enemy can be very deadly. List Derived from below: Jimmy Swaggart Study Bible Down From His Glory Christ’s Perfect Obedience Christ's substitutionary death on the cross stands at the heart of all other sal vation truths revealed in the Bible. He took our place in suffering the penalty for sin. The demands of the law against the transgressor were fully satisfied by His voluntary acceptance of our punishment. To distort this great central fact about the plan of salvation would weaken the entire foundation of Christianity. It is this tremendous Bible truth concerning the imputed merits of Christ's atoning death that lends assurance to every born-again believer. It has always been Satan's purpose to obscure the simplicity of the cross in its application to our sin problem. The Bible teaches that Christ was "manifest in the flesh" in order to accomplish certain things for the redemption of the human race. Any teaching that takes away from the effectiveness of this marvelous transaction must be considered a most dangerous heresy. What Kind of Humanity Was Required? Original Sin Not Biblical
An "Angel" Named Yahweh The Scriptures Tell Us of by Bob Pickle God the Father Has Never Been Seen The New Testament is clear. Christ and John the Baptist are Two "Angels" Behold, I will send my messenger [mal'ak, the Hebrew word for "angel"], and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger [again, the Hebrew word is mal'ak] of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. I submit that the Bible is in no way ambiguous when it speaks on alcohol and how it relates to God’s followers. Two Opposing Camps Among Christians, there are two primary camps of thought on this sensitive topic. Then there is the other position: Alcohol is an addictive and destructive drug that no sincere Christian should use to any degree. In fairness, I will state from the beginning that I am firmly in the unfermented camp!
The Cross and It's Shadow Baptism - Is it Really Necessary? Introduction Suppose you could survey the people who live in the hundred homes nearest to your own house on the subject of Christian baptism. What kind of answer would you get in response to this question: “How should a person be baptized in order to meet the Bible requirements of salvation?” It is likely that you would get a dozen different answers, and possibly even a hundred. Some would say that they don’t believe it is necessary to be baptized at all to be saved. One man in Hollywood, California, insisted on being immersed in a huge tank full of rose petals. In spite of all claims to the contrary, it is obvious that all of these people had made a very shallow study of the Word of God concerning this subject. Two Requirements for Heaven We first turn to the teaching of the Master Himself as He defined the terms for entrance into His Kingdom. But what did Jesus mean by that statement to Nicodemus? Now we will show that being born of water refers to baptism. How Many Modes of Baptism?
The Divine Christ in the Old Testament The Bible Reveals: by Bob Pickle Christ, the Archangel, and the Resurrection Many Christians are not aware of how personally involved Jesus was in the salvation of mankind in Old Testament times. Jesus said His own voice will raise the dead (Jn. 5:28). This would seem to suggest that the only archangel in the Bible, Michael, whose name means "Who is like God?" Arche is a Greek word that means "first in time or place." It is quite easy to see how Christ can be called the Archangel since He appropriately is the "ruler" of all the angels, though He Himself never has been and never will be an angel, in the normal sense of the word. Christ and His Kingdom Michael will "stand up," which means "begin to reign" (Dan. 12:1; 8:22, 23; 11:2-4, 20, 21). These three points seem to make Michael, God, and Christ one and the same person. Titles of Michael and Christ in the Book of Daniel According to Daniel: Michael was "one of the chief princes" (Dan. 10:13). Christ Appears; Michael is Mentioned

God Drew The Plans. We all know that 4,000 years ago, on the grand summit of Mt. Sinai, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. But most people don't know that at the same time, the Lord gave Moses the blueprints for one of the most mysterious structures ever built - the sanctuary. It must have been important, because the Israelites could not enter the Promised Land until it was completed. This unique portable temple represented God's dwelling place among His people, and its services showed the nation of freed slaves a three-dimensional panorama of the plan of salvation. A careful look into the secrets of the sanctuary will crystallize your understanding of how Jesus saves the lost and leads the church. God Himself gave Moses the plans for the sanctuary. "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." The Lord asked Moses to erect a sanctuarya special building that would serve as a dwelling place for the great God of heaven. (Psalms 80:1). The Ten Commandments were inside the ark. Yes.
