This tutorial is inspired in his works from the late 60′s, know as the Cosmic style that made him famous worldwide. This is a quite long tutorial, and for the sake of simplicity I will avoid explaining the basic use of tools and commands. This tutorial assumes you have a basic to intermediate general knowledge of Photoshop. Create a new work area of 800 x 600 pixels. Select the lower half of the image with the Rectangular Marquee tool and create another radial gradient from color: #00108A to color #0C02FD. Create a new layer and set the Foreground Color to black. If you don’t see the sunburst shape, then you will have to load it. Now let’s draw the sunburst. First click on the exact center of the image, and ONLY THEN press ALT/OPTION + SHIFT. Now you should have a big black starburst on your image. And fill it with color #0C02FD

Step 3: Color the pieces of the butterfly after printing them out. Step 4: Use the rounded end of a paper clip to “score” (press along) the dotted lines – - – -. Step 5: Carefully cut out the pop-up pieces and card along the black outlines ______. Step 6: Wiggle the tabs marked A and B back and forth a bit to loosen them along the score. Step 7: Put a small amount of white glue on the back side of tab A and place over the area marked A on the card. Step 8: Slide the B half of the butterfly down into the A half. Step 9: Put glue on the back side of tab B and place over area B on the card. Step 10: Carefully close card, then pop-up!

Usar um Mock-up é mais simples do que você talvez imagina. O Mock-up usado na imagem acima nada mais é que um arquivo do Photoshop. Após abrir o arquivo, você deverá localizar as camadas responsáveis por fazer a substituição das artes (nesse caso a frente e o verso do cartão de visitas). Após localizar, basta dar um duplo clique na camada desejada (clique em cima da miniatura da imagem, e não no nome da camada.). Após clicar, um arquivo será aberto. O que fazer agora, é óbvio.
