Show me the light – Digital Art Tutorial In this photoshop tutorial I will show you how to use stock images to make a beautiful digital artwork with nicely colored lights. All you need for this tutorial is my Colors in Motion textures pack and a model. I found the model on deviantArt. Video walk-through Many people requested a video of this tutorial so I had to record it. Step 1 Open the girl model in photoshop and using the Pen Tool (P), trace the contour but make sure you have the paths selected. Create a new document 1500×2026 pixels and paste the girl, name this layer model. Step 2 Now we are going to make some adjustments to the color and the contrast and add some shadows. Make some color adjustments and increase the contrast of the girl. Levels settings to increase contrast. Saturation settings to increase color After making this adjustments, make some shadows on the ground to give a more realistic look, otherwise it looks like the girl is hanging in the air. To make the big ground shadow use a bigger soft brush. Step 3 Step 4
Glowing Heart ~ Easy Photoshop Tutorials In this Photoshop Tutorial , Easy-Psd will teach you how to create a glowing shape based on a primary shape . First of all create a new big size image with black background. In the left menu click on Custom Shape Tool(U) and draw a shape you want to make , but don't make the shape too big because it will be hard to handle . I selected a heart. Now that you made your shape , go to Pen Tool (P) , right click on the shape and click Make Selection . Now create a new layer (Shift+Ctrl+N) , and install this brush pack. Now you have to make the brush take the shape you want . Now make it look better and take the shape you want . For a better accuracy , you have to warp it more then once. The image still don't look like i want so i will warp it again (Ctrl+T then right click and select warp). Now the hard part is over . Now you can make your background image black because you don't need the original shape now . Now make the layers visible again and select the layer 3 and merge it down (Ctrl+E) .

Since we discovered that there’s a connection between the two, we decided to bring them together in this month’s tutorial. We’ll teach you how to apply layer duplications, blending mode, transforming and creating of objects that will give a plain looking image that extra edge by adding multicolored effects. Are you ready? Before we begin, prepare these set of images:- P/S: Click on the images for a larger and clearer view We’ll kick start by creating a blank background for our montage according to this size setting - 1678 pixels x 2500 pixels. Once the background is ready, create a new layer and fill the canvas with black color.Then, create another layer but this time go to Edit > Fill and fill it with 50% Gray.After that, go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise and set the amount to 400%. Let’s spice up the image by sharpening and increasing it’s contrast.

There’s a designer, I think he's Brazilian, who has some amazing designs using this style, his name is Leandro Demetrius and it’s really worth checking his work out. Anyway, in this tutorial I will show you how to create an image using this technique. It basically mixes some techniques from tutorials like Magic Lighting Effect, Amazing Photoshop light effect in 10 Steps, and the latest Create the MSNBC header effect. Step 1 Create a new document, mine is 800x600 pixels. Step 2 Select a nice photo, in my case an amazingly hot girl from the 30 Color and Pattern Inspiration Bikinis post.
