Так проект Home Automation Hub (HAH) превращает недорогой рутер Livebox с небольшой доводкой железа и прошивки в контроллер для автоматизации дома с поддержкой 1-Wire, X10, C-Bus и I2C bus. Из дополнительных компонентов в рутер были добавлены модуль для передачи и приема радиосигнала для работы с беспроводными модулями, четыре релейных входа, 1-Wire модуль, I2C bus модуль и LCD дисплей. В качестве протокола был выбран xAP за его открытость и доступность, насколько я понимаю. xAP можно интегрировать с X10 и C-Bus устройствами, существенно расширив выбор оборудования для автоматизации дома.
