Whats For Dinner Next Week 6-27-11 I am so glad to see you this morning,we have been working in the garden and are ready to sit down for a cup of coffee and one of these wonderful muffins. This is such a wonderful time of the year with friends and family coming out to the country for a visit. One of the local garden clubs will be touring latter this week and I am planning a brunch for them. We have family and friends coming for the upcoming 4th so we will be dong a lot of cooking. Lets get started on this menu. A Year of Slow Cooking Veggie Pizza with Pesto Recipe : Jamie Deen Directions Heat a grill to medium-high heat and shut the lid. Let the grill heat for 20 minutes. Add a few glugs of olive oil to a small bowl and season with a pinch of salt. Add the leeks to a small bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle your work surface with flour. Have all of your sauces, olive oil, toppings and spoons set out on a sheet tray next to your grill. Turn one side of your grill down to medium and keep the other side of the grill on medium-high. Brush the other side of the dough with olive oil, then top the pizza. Remove with a pizza peel or sheet tray. Homemade Pizza Dough: Stir the yeast, warm water and honey together in the bottom of a standing mixer bowl. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, the bread flour and salt until well blended. Turn the mixer on and add the cold water and olive oil to the bubbly yeast mixture. Punch down and let rise again for 1 1/2 more hours. Broccoli Pesto:

After perusing through my awesome and huge dessert pinterest board, I decided to make these. Good choice. And a happy mother’s day to me. Because that’s what we all want for mother’s day, right?
