Create a Stunning String Bowl for Your Home Yarn Ball Magnets Here’s a quick craft for today because I’ve got some news in the works, and waiting until next week to share it. Needless to say, it’s been busy around here, so a quick craft is what’s on the menu. My yarn ball magnets were inspired by my friend Melanie’s yarn ball earrings that she shared last week. I actually found this craft to not be the easiest project in the world. I used a wooden bead on the inside of my yarn ball. Supplies: wood bead with one flat side yarn (scrapbuster!) First and foremost, hot glue one end of your yarn to the bead. Wrapping a good looking yarn ball around a slippery sucker of a wooden bead is harder than one would think. When all is said and done, I have to admit, they are pretty cute. By the way, the yellow ball magnet is not actually a yarn ball; it’s a crocheted ball left over from my goldfish teether.

On peut faire des marqueurs pour ses plantes, ici les cuillères sont gravées au nom des herbes aromatiques.. On peut faire de très jolis porte-clefs à messages avec de vieilles cuillères, ici les cuillères ont été martelées et gravées.. On peut faire des accessoires à bijoux originaux avec de vieilles cuillères.. On peut faire de jolis carillons suspendus pour le jardin avec de vieilles cuillères gravées ou pas.. On peut aussi faire de fausses fleurs argentées pour décorer le jardin, pourquoi pas les peindre !
Tuesday's Tips & Techniques: Embellished Bookmarks This is a cute bookmark tutorial that my friend Suzanne posted. Super fun are really easy: Cut a 12 x 12 pp in half diagonally. In the center of the long side of the triangle, make a smaller triangle that measures 7 1/2" on the bottom and 5" on each side. Score and fold and trim away the excess at the point of the triangle. Fold and glue side flaps together. Your paper should look like this when it's flipped over. Trim the excess so that all that's left is a triangle "envelope." Embellish to your hearts content! Thanks for sharing the great tutorial Suzanne! I just love making these bookmarks, here's a couple that I made for my cookbook: This bookmark was my first "successful" attempt at heat embossing. The paper and brad that I used for this one are both from Cookbookin' and the heart punch is Martha Stewart. Happy Scrappin'
First tutorial These cute purses are so easy to make! It won't take you more than 30 minutes. Wouldn't they be a perfect gift for mom. Print out this template on a 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. When you are done cutting you will have 4 pieces like this. Fold the sides so it looks like a "M". Put glue to both sides with fast drying adhesive. Glue the sides to the purse (after you folded the purse in half) with the narrow side down. Glue the lid to the back of the purse. Take a ribbon through one of the holes and make a little knot. On the front of the purse,add a button,brad or whatever you like. Last - put 5/8" Velcro round with sticky back to the inside of the lid and the other part of it to the purse. Inking,doodling,Stickles..it would all look good here. If you give this a try, I would love to see the result. Who knows, maybe I decide to send out some RAK's;) As I'm sure you understand..I didn't come up with this purse idea. I traced the purse she gave me and made this template!
