1. Aquí tienes un ejemplo de este tipo de perspectiva: 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.
An Exclusive First Look At The Other-Worldly Art Of Burning Man 2014
One of the very best things about Burning Man, the week-long, post-apocalyptic celebration of creative expression that pops up in the Nevada desert each August, is the awe-inspiring collection of art on display. The installations and the “art cars” roaming through the two-mile stretch of temporary city render humanity’s capacity for imagination limitless. Where else in the universe would a giant, fire-breathing steampunk octopus glide past a 55-foot tall, LED-powered homage to the female form? The Huffington Post was lucky enough to preview a handful of the projects that will be on hand at this year’s event, which kicks off in mere weeks and is built around the theme “caravansary.” From a giant, glowing vagina to a collection of mechanical lotus flowers that light up to the rhythm of your heartbeat, take a look at some of the bizarre creations that will grace the world's dustiest canvas this year (Grover Norquist not included): Embrace The Super Pool Minaret Wheel of Fortune The Vulvatron

Family Chronicle - Dating Old Photographs
Dating Old Photographs Family Chronicle’s special publication Dating Old Photographs 1840-1929 has proved to be very popular. Many of us have photographs that are undated but in past articles we have shown that it is often possible to establish the date by carefully comparing with other pictures of known date. We thought it might be interesting to show in detail how a photograph can be dated with a considerable degree of precision. Even though we know the date, you may wish to work your way through the pointers which confirm this date. We have not described every thing that may be used as a pointer. Even though most photographs can be dated by comparing these to known examples, some can be very difficult, even impossible. A sample photo spread from Dating Old Photographs. Civil War & Old West Photos
Posted by Gerard Murphy – January 13, 2014 browse all Guest post by Terry Falk One day in the spring of 1975, my phone rang, and that call led me on an incredible journey. The call was from my brother, who was starting his career as an art researcher and historian. He specializes on forgotten or overlooked American artists. “Do you remember me telling you about the research I am doing on Alfred Waud, the Civil War artist”, he says, “well, I have tracked down his present day descendants living in Vermont. With that enigmatic proposal, we took off for Vermont and made our way to a quintessential country home in the southern part of the state. I turned back the ancient lid of the trunk and inside were stacks of boxes and folders wrapped in paper. The reason this collection exists at all is a story itself. It didn’t end with the Civil War, however. After my adrenalin came down to an operable level and I regained the ability to speak, the trunk was brought downstairs. Now my work truly began.
