Alternate Ending Well you didn't ask but I'm giving it to you anyway my alternate ending to Hunger Games: “What’s wrong?” Peeta asks. “Nothing,” I answer. We continue walking, past the end of the train, out where even I’m fairly sure there are no cameras hidden in the scrubby bushes along the track. Still no words come. Haymitch startles me when he lays a hand on my back. “What’s he mean?” “It seemed too rebellious. “Coaching you? “He knew you were smart enough to get it right,” I say. “I didn’t know there was anything to get right,” says Peeta. “No I mean, I couldn’t even talk to him in the arena, could I?” “But you knew what he wanted you to do didn’t you?” “It was all for the games,” Peeta says. “Not all of it,” I say holding on to my flowers. “Then how much? “I don’t know. “Well let me know when you work it out,” he says, and the pain in his voce is palpable. I know my ears are healed because, even with the rumble of the engine, I can hear every step he takes back to the train. “Have you seen Peeta?”
Mockingjay.net – HungerGames.org | Hunger Games Movie News | HungerGamesMovie.com Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins Here comes a long-overdue review of a book I absolutely LOVED. Yup, it's the book-blogging favorite, the soon-to-be-motion-picture-blockbuster, Hunger Games! Seriously, have you read this book? After I got burned a couple of times with certain YA books that everybody seemed to love (Eclipse? In like one day. Here's the layout, although I'm pretty sure you already know what this book is all about. Okay, so before we continue, go and buy the book. I was shocked and amazed by the level of trust and respect author Suzanne Collins seems to have for her young readers. The character of Katniss is a make-it-or-break-it kind of character, since the book relies mostly on her. I hear they are making a movie based on the first book in the series, and obviously I am interested in seeing it, if only to see if they have done the book justice. All in all, I could not recommend Hunger Games more. This review was entered in the "Book Review Wednesday Party" Competition
The Hunger Games Trilogy Fansite Down With The Capitol - Hunger Games Fansite/Hunger Games Movie News
This site is essentially the same as the US/Canada Scholastic site; however, it's appearance is a little more teenage savvy, which is why I chose to include it. What I like about this site it that it is soley dedicated to THG, and does not contain all the superfluous information links related to Scholastic, ie., book fairs, teachers, parents, etc., that the Scholastic.com site contains. These links are distracting to teens and they simply do not need it. by dtrees Feb 8
