Mind-Blowing Dancing by Marquese "NONSTOP" Scott This takes a moment to get started, but stick with it. I don’t think I’ve seen dancing this incredible hit the internet since clips of David Elsewhere started circulating about a decade ago. This guy achieves simply inhuman movement. Even after watching this twice, I still can’t convince myself the camera isn’t playing tricks. Who is this guy!? Update: The dancer is 29-year-old Marquese Scott who goes by the moniker NONSTOP.

Bruce Lee’s Top 7 Fundamentals for Getting Your Life in Shape If you haven’t been living under a rock for the last 30 years I’m pretty sure you know who Bruce Lee was. If you have, then you may be interested to know that Lee was a very famous martial artist and actor who sparked the first big interest of Chinese martial arts in the West in the 60’s and 70’s. But besides being an awesome fighter and iconic figure Lee also had some very useful things to say about life. Here are 7 of my favourite fundamentals from Bruce Lee. 1. “As you think, so shall you become.” Perhaps the most basic statement of how we work. It’s easy to forget about this simple statement in everyday life. 2. “It’s not the daily increase but daily decrease. “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.” If you want to improve your life then it’s tempting to want to add more. Children, brain development and the criminal law The legal system needs to take greater account of new discoveries in neuroscience that show how a difficult childhood can affect the development of a young person's brain which can increase the risk adolescent crimes, according to researchers. The research will be presented as part of an Economic and Social Research Council seminar series in conjunction with the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. Neuroscientists have recently shown that early adversity -- such as a very chaotic and frightening home life -- can result in a young child becoming hyper vigilant to potential threats in their environment. Such children may come to adolescence with brain systems that are set differently, and this may increase their likelihood of taking impulsive risks. These insights, from a team led by Dr Eamon McCrory, University College London, are part of a wave of neuroscientific research questions that have potential implications for the legal system.

Nine Things Successful People Do Differently - Heidi Grant Halvorson Learn more about the science of success with Heidi Grant Halvorson’s HBR Single, based on this blog post. Why have you been so successful in reaching some of your goals, but not others? If you aren’t sure, you are far from alone in your confusion. 1. To seize the moment, decide when and where you will take each action you want to take, in advance. 3. "In the beginning, God created man, but seeing him so feeble, He gave him the cat."- Warren Eckstein "A home without a cat- and a well-fed, well-petted and properly revered cat- may be a perfect home, perhaps, but how can it prove title?" "If animals could speak the dog would be a a blundering outspoken fellow, but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much "A cat is more intelligent than people believe, and can be taught any crime." Ironic Photography by Glazastik Finch / Photography Blog / Photography Hubs and Blogs BACK TO THE FUTURE : Irina Werning I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today… Two years ago, I decided to actually do this. Now its time for KOREA, TAIWAN AND TOKYO. Dancers among us “The inspiration for this book came to me one afternoon as I watched my son, Hudson, playing with his toy bus. I was trying to keep pace with his three-year-old mind as he got deeper and deeper into a fantasy involving nothing more than a yellow plastic box and armless figurines. At least that’s what I saw. He saw frantic commuters rushing to catch the 77 local bus to Australia. He jumped in place, mouth open and slapping his knees, joyously reacting to a world I couldn’t see, but one powerfully present for him.” “What happens to this enthusiasm, this ability to be wholly present in the moment? “Shortly after playing “bus”, I attended an extraordinary dance performance, and I knew I had found my collaborators. “I’ve created these images for Hudson and his little sister, Salish.
