How to Correctly Identify Dominant Dog Behavior | DogTube.us A common misconception among dog owners is that all dominate dogs are aggressive and will act out their aggression on people and other dogs. However, many experts agree that dominate dog behavior does not necessary translate to aggression and many aggression issues are a direct result of fear, anxiety, and mistrust. Dominance is used to describe the way dogs organize themselves within social groups or their pack. Pack members may compete for food, resting places, space, nurturing, affection, grooming, or toys. In the wild, wolves for example, have a typically nonviolent system for determining who gets what and when. Domestic dogs have evolved from wolves but many of their wild traits are now missing and their social lives are very different, such as: they are now bonded with people, they are no longer free ranging, less suspicious of new situations, they rely on their owners for their provisions, and feral dogs of today don’t form the same stable packs as wolves do. ©Dobtube.US

bébés éléphants Parrot missing for years returns speaking Spanish TORRANCE, Calif. – A pet parrot that spoke with a British accent when it disappeared from its home four years ago has been reunited with its owner – and the bird now speaks Spanish. The reunion was brought about by a Southern California veterinarian who mistook Nigel, an African grey parrot, for her own missing bird, the Daily Breeze reported Sunday. Teresa Micco tracked Nigel’s microchip to Darren Chick, of Great Britain. “I introduced myself and said, ‘Have you lost a bird?” When she verified Chick’s name and said she had his African grey parrot, “He looked at me like I was crazy.” He said his bird went missing four years earlier. READ MORE: ‘He’s drunk!’ Little is known about Nigel’s whereabouts the past four years, but Chick says the bird’s British accent is gone, and it now chatters in Spanish. Chick says last week’s reunion brought tears of joy to his eyes – despite the fact that Nigel bit him when he first tried to pick him up. But first, she took Nigel to her dog-grooming business.
