SPIRITUAL SEX

SPIRITUAL SEX
Here is your chance to spiritualize your sex life or to make your spiritual life more sexy by Walter Last Sexuality is closely related to spirituality in several ways. In its negative aspects of lust, sexual excess, degradation and rape, it appears as the antithesis of spirituality, and in this light it has been seen in the Christian tradition. The idea of celibacy for priests, nuns and monks is to spiritualize sexual energies as in meditation, rituals and other devotional practices. There are various yoga and meditation techniques to transform sexual energy into kundalini or spiritual energy by oneself. Commonly esoteric teachings advise to curtail sexual activity and portray abstinence as an ideal in order to retain sexual energies for internal development. Furthermore, most of those with a chronic disease, and especially cancer, are emotionally rather fragile, and benefit greatly from a close-bonding loving relationship. How to Be a Positive Person, in Under 300 Words | zen habits ‘Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune.’ ~Walt Whitman By Leo Babauta I’m a pretty positive person — I consider it one of the keys to the modest success I’ve had in creating new habits and achieving things in the last few years. I couldn’t have run three marathons without a positive mindset, nor created Zen Habits, mnmlist, or The Power of Less. I couldn’t have lost 50 lbs., quit smoking, eliminated my debt, or quit my day job. Positive thinking, as trite as it seems, has changed my life. I’m not going to sell you on it, but if you’re interested, here’s the condensed guide to changing your own life: Realize it’s possible, instead of telling yourself why you can’t. Focus on this habit first, and you’ll have a much easier time with any other. ‘A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.’

Third Eye - Pineal Gland Third Eye - Pineal Gland The pineal gland (also called the pineal body, epiphysis cerebri, epiphysis or the "third eye") is a small endocrine gland. It produces melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and photoperiodic (seasonal) functions. It is located near to the center of the brain between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join. Unlike much of the rest of the brain, the pineal gland is not isolated from the body by the blood-brain barrier system. The pineal gland is shaped like a tiny pine cone, hence its name. Pine Cone Pineal Gland Pseudoscience Theories While the physiological function of the pineal gland has been unknown until recent times, mystical traditions and esoteric schools have long known this area in the middle of the brain to be the connecting link between the physical and spiritual worlds. The third eye controls the various bio-rhythms of the body. Chakras - Spiraling Wheels or Cones of Energy

Maithuna, Sacred Sex You are Aphrodite and Adonis as soft flesh endlessly dances on flesh among the brilliant flowers of Mount Olympus. You are the roil and roll of the universe in the never ending movement of creation. You are mastodons in rut, but you are also a point of light beyond manifestation. Maithuna is the Sanskrit word for union. Sexual voyaging should take us on journeys to incredible spaces of consciousness and union with many levels of infinite reality, but that takes unlearning much of what religion has promulgated and our parents, in their ignorance, passed on to us. Making love is a way of getting high, perhaps ultimately the only way. We make love when we walk down the streetand smile at an old person;we make love when we pet an animal. In all of our daily inter-relating with people and with things,we either create more loveor break down the love that exists.Sexual intercourse is one form of making love. The second ‘rule’: the woman must be chiefly responsible for timing the sexual act.

The Case Against Buying Christmas Presents | zen habits Post written by Leo Babauta. I love Christmas. I love the snow-themed everything, even when I was living on tropical Guam, and Santa and elves and reindeer and snowmen and candy canes. Yes, I even love the non-stop playing of Christmas music for two months. Most of all, I love getting together with my family — eating Christmas cookies, singing Christmas carols together, gossiping and laughing at each other. I don’t love Christmas shopping, or the overconsumption, frenzied malls, consumer debt, environmental waste, wasted time wrapping, and over-accumulation of needless stuff that goes with it. Bah humbug! 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Questions Q: But what about the kids? I think, instead, this can be a great opportunity to have an open discussion with kids about buying and spending and debt. Q: But what about family? This is also a great opportunity (you see how I love turning problems into opportunities?) Q: But I love giving presents! Alternatives to buying

List of martial arts There are a large number of distinct styles and schools of martial arts. Sometimes, schools or styles are introduced by individual teachers or masters, or as a brand name by a specific gym. Martial arts can be grouped by type or focus, or alternatively by regional origin. This article focuses on the latter grouping. For hybrid martial arts, as they originated from the late 19th century and especially after 1950, it may be impossible to identify unique or predominant regional origins. A large portion of traditional martial arts can be categorized as folk wrestling (see the separate article), although in some cases a folk wrestling style and a modern combat sport may overlap or become indistinguishable from each other once the sport has been regulated. Ability Rewiring With complete dedication and focus, Anthony William not only has the ability to help clients heal on a physical level, but also the unique gift of spiritual healing, allowing people to fully recover on all other levels. He calls this process of healing from the emotional and spiritual strain of illness or injury “rewiring.” When a person has been struggling with illness for a long time, there is more than the physical illness from which to heal. You may feel that you have lost your sense of security, not able to trust yourself or those around you for direction or help. For example, when one injures a knee, there are months of recovery ahead. When one has finally found proper help and the knee has healed, the story isn’t over. Some people who have been ill for years become practically an empty shell of pain.

A Generation of Men Raised by Women “We’re a generation of men raised by women. I’m wondering if another woman is really the answer we need.” This comment, made by the Tyler Durden character in the movie Fight Club, is one of the most memorable lines of that film and has oft been repeated and discussed. “Between man and man there is always an insuperable gulf. Without male mentors, many men of this generation have felt adrift, unsure of how to deal with an indescribable but acute lack in their lives. How did we get to the point where it is possible, as Edward Abbey put it, “to proceed from infancy into senility without ever knowing manhood?” There are three primary social institutions that have historically served to mold young boys into men: family, religion, and education. The Family During the pre-industrial period, a man’s home was also his workplace. This relationship was disrupted by the Industrial Revolution, as fathers were forced to abandon the land and the workshop for a place on the assembly line. Education Source:

Marijuana Smokers Breathe Easy Says The University of Alabama As of January 10, 2012, a new study has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association exonerating marijuana from the bad reputation of being as harmful to your lungs when smoked as tobacco cigarettes. Researchers at the University of California San Francisco and the University of Alabama at Birmingham completed a twenty-year study between 1986 and 2006 on over 5,000 adults over the age of 21 in four American cities. Study co-author Dr. Stefan Kertesz is a professor of preventive medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lung function was determined by testing the volume of expiration in the first second of exhaling and the amount of air a person can force out in one second after taking a deep breath. Basically, though these studies do not depict what the consequences are of inhaling marijuana smoke, their findings suggest that occasional use of marijuana may not be linked with unfavorable consequences on pulmonary function.

Wisdom Unexplained Health Disorder and Mystery Illness Mystery Illness can take many forms, but the experience one has seeking answers and cures for unexplained symptoms usually falls into one of three categories. The first type of experience is when--after going from doctor to doctor and withstanding a battery of tests, scans, and blood work--a patient is told nothing is wrong with them. For example, a person may visit healers, practitioners, and doctors for answers to their severe exhaustion, unexplained weight gain and loud ringing in the ears. Though it’s all this person can do to persevere through each day, all the tests--from alternative to conventional--come back normal. Decades later, however, what they were all experiencing finally has a label: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The second type of experience which those with mystery illness symptoms have is when they receive a diagnosis and a prescribed type of treatment but the treatment doesn't get them better.

Meditation To reach the Higher Self it is best to concentrate on the source of the "inner sound", leading to the "inner light" - a nucleus of the Higher Self, which initially seems infinitely far "at the other side of a long dark tunnel". When we get sufficiently close to our Higher Self, the inner light becomes much brighter than the Sun, and when we are allowed to join it, the bliss cannot be described in any human language. To get that far, we have to achieve a complete purity of the mind during meditation, have pure intentions, and then intensively concentrate for some time on the "inner sound" and "inner light". The most important role of a spiritual teacher is to show everyone his/her individual way to the Higher Self. Then, it is up to the individual to practice and reach the Higher Self. From the above, meditation seems to be an essential skill to attain the ultimate enlightenment. 1. mantra is a very simple thought. 2. The posture during meditation is also important. © Dr Tom J.

Cannabidiol helps neuropathy pain Cannabidiol—a compound derived from marijuana—may be a promising new treatment to prevent the development of painful neuropathy in patients receiving the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel, according to animal experiments reported in the October issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, official journal of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS). "Our preliminary findings…indicate that cannabidiol may prevent the development of paclitaxel-induced allodynia in mice and therefore be effective at preventing dose-limiting paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy in humans," according to the report by Sara Jane Ward, Ph.D., and colleagues of Temple University School of Pharmacy, Philadelphia. In Female Mice, Cannabidiol Reduces Paclitaxel-Induced Neuropathy Paclitaxel—commonly used in the treatment of advanced breast or ovarian cancer—can cause nerve damage (neuropathy), leading to symptoms like pain, numbness, or tingling. Further Study Needed to Evaluate Cannabidiol's Effects in Humans
