This interactive day of learning, now in its eighth year, was touted to me as the event to attend in Atlanta, and it did not disappoint. The informal, small-group conversations were inclusive and welcoming. The "rule of two feet" meant that if you needed to move, you were encouraged. Simulador mostra impactos de trocar carro pela bike na sua cidade ~ Pedala Floripa Fonte: Bike Legal Um simulador lançado pela Associação Nacional de Transportes Públicos (ANTP) na última quinta-feira (25) mostra quais seriam as consequências de trocar o carro por outros modais de transporte, como ônibus e bicicleta. Desenvolvida pela própria ANTP em parceria com o WWF-Brasil, a ferramenta projeta cenários em que uma determinada quantidade dos deslocamentos diários migrasse de um modal para outro. O banco de dados inclui todas as cidades brasileiras que tenham mais de 60 mil habitantes e são considerados cinco fatores para definir ganhos e prejuízos: tempo, espaço viário, consumo de energia, emissão de poluentes e gases do efeito estufa. Na ferramenta, os usuários escolhem uma porcentagem para transferir de um modal para o outro no total de viagens da cidade. Ônibus, carro, moto, bicicleta e deslocamentos a pé são as opções.
