The Record Machine This video gives you an idea of what this year has been like for Making Movies. They have had a busy year as a band already. After recording their Aguardiente 7”/EP this spring they went on to open for bands like Fun and Neon Indian at our own Middle of the Map Fest. As you can see from the video they have played shows of all sizes this summer be it something more intimate or even a big amphitheater show put on by Red Bull. They are also a band that is willing to cut loose and not take themselves too seriously. Delicieuse Musique Tee Pee Records - Home Nonkeen sort The Gamble, un album atemporel Hors de l’espace, hors du temps. Nonkeen, le trio formé autour du compositeur et producteur berlinois Nils Frahm, sort un premier album intitulé The Gamble. Aussi expérimental qu’énigmatique, ce dernier a la particularité d’être composé à partir d’enregistrements créés par les trois musiciens dès leur plus jeune âge. L’histoire légitimerait presque, à elle seule, l’écoute de cet album. Transformant ces expérimentations juvéniles en samples, les trois musiciens travaillent en silence sur ce projet insensé. À écouter de manière linéaire, à triturer dans tous les sens, The Gamble est un instrument à part entière. La notion de flou artistique prend une dimension nouvelle au gré des écoutes de ces neuf pistes.
