Web App Hashtag Reader | NOE interactive For the agency's birthday party, we wanted to realize a little web app. The idea was to display live tweets and instagram pictures taken at the event, all published with the #noe10 hashtag, thus illustrating what was going on through the night. This is an in house project, and as such, at the beginning, we brainstorm, throw ideas, doodle,and sometimes, an idea pops in and stands out. A wheel displaying the tweets and photos in a 1h timezone, according to their timestamp. An horizontal timeline with a detail view. A vertical timeline with all the tweets and pictures sorted by chronological order, coupled with a 3D particle presentation. Once the concept was approved, we actually got on with the coding. webGL The webGL technology in HTML5 allows to render some 3D directly in a modern browser without the need for a plugin!
